Year 11 Prom

Celebrating Five Great Years at Winston

with a Prom! 🎈🎈🎈🎈

Winston students certainly know how to celebrate.  They arrived at the venue, ready to enjoy a lovely evening with their friends, on and in every form of transport possible, including a mobility scooter and a surf board.

The event was organised by an amazing group of parents and supported by Mrs Taylor and Mrs Dungey.  The hall looked beautiful; the hardwork and time was worth it, as the students began to arrive.  They then danced the night away!!

The photographs are from a selection supplied by Mrs Dungey.

An Outdoor Challenge

The Walton Firs Challenge!

The challenge, linked to the work being developed through Winston Extra:

• to take a step outside of each individuals comfort zone
• to work collaboratively to ensure that everyone had a tent to sleep in, food to eat and were safe
• to learn new skills
• to build a team
• to demonstrate resilience
• to enjoy something new

As you can see from the images below, the students embraced the three day adventure!!

Thank you to Mr Byrne, Mr Doul and Ms Pflanz for making the trip such a success.
