Celebration Break
I was delighted to invite students to a celebration break, of hot chocolate and cake on Tuesday. Students entered a competition to create some art on the theme of World War 1, to be included in the local community book being complied by Mr Phillips, our Business Manager and our students. The work of two students has been selected but as both Mr Phillips and Ms Bailey explained, it was a tough decision as the standard of work was so high.

We were also joined by some students who have shown resilience throughout their time at Winston. It was interesting to talk to the students and to hear their experiences. There was also an opportunity to discuss future plans for the school, including building developments and to gain a student view of the plans.
