🕮🕮 Book Fair 🕮🕮
The Scholastic Book Fair was back at Winston from 22nd Jan - 2nd Feb and as it always does, created a real buzz in and around the Library. Students were talking about books excitedly and recommending them to their classmates and friends as they visited the fair. This year, Mrs Jones was even more excited as the Half Price fair was back, meaning that students (and staff!!) were able to get fantastic deals on books, with the cheapest being just £1!! We have also selected some of the popular books from the fair to buy for the Library.
Across the 2 weeks, Years 7-10 were invited to visit the Book Fair with their English classes and teacher, and Year 11 had the opportunity to visit with their form tutors during tutor time. The fair was also open after school one day this year, something which a lot of the students really appreciated so we will definitely do that again next year!
Make sure if you ordered a book from the Book Fair to visit Mrs Jones in the Library this week in order to collect them.
Happy Reading!
