Straight Back to Work!

Year 8 Grammar Stream

I was delighted to visit a year 8 Science lesson today, Monday 31st October, where the Grammar Stream were reviewing an assessment.  The students impressed me, with not only their knowledge but with their enthusiasm for learning and willingness to share their outcomes.

Assembly this Week

Character

Mr Drake planned and delivered an assembly on the pertinent topic of character.  His message was illustrated through the Hungry Caterpillar! Students were asked to reflect on what elements make up an individual's character and how could these be developed, so that each one of us becomes the best that we can be.

Enjoy Making Music

There are so many opportunities to enjoy making music together at Winston; you can join one of the many extra-curricular clubs or get involved by forming your own group or engaging with the radio station.  Individual lessons take place throughout the day but we believe in making music together, so come along and join in.
