Mr Phillips, Award Winner

We are all incredibly proud of Mr Phillips, who has been recognised for his contribution to the coaching of football, in particular our girls' team, over the past two years. Mr Phillips gives up his time as a volunteer to coach football, sharing his extensive knowledge as a trained coach for over 20 years.

These opportunities are only available because staff are prepared to devote their time freely to our students. Across the school a range of opportunities are available and everyone is welcome.

Mr Phillips enjoyed a day at the Womens' FA Cup Final on Sunday, as a guest of the FA. Click on the link below to see the film that was made by the FA celebrating girls' football at Winston.

🗣️ “He cares about letting us play and teaching us those skills.”

Congratulations Stuart on being one of our #LetGirlsPlay Award Winners 💜
