VE Day at Winston

The Winston community joined with the rest of the nation by holding a 2 minute silence at midday on the 8th May, in recognition of Victory in Europe.

Mr Webster read some of Winston Churchill' speech and after the chimes of Big Ben, we all had two minutes to reflect before Mr Drake and some Year 10 musicians played 'We'll meet again'.

Well done Winston you were superb throughout the event, coming together to demonstrate your respect.
