French Reading Competition
It was lovely to receive this email today, celebrating the achievements of Year 7 students:
Dear Mrs Johnson-Walker,
We have been truly blown away by the commitment and engagement our Year 7 students have shown towards our French reading initiative using the Boukili app, and we would be delighted to share the following update on the Head's Blog, along with some feedback from students:
What an incredible finish to our French reading competition on the Boukili app! Our Year 7 students have truly gone above and beyond, showing enthusiasm, dedication, and a real love of reading in French. Their outstanding performance has been nothing short of inspiring, and the MFL Department could not be prouder of their efforts.
A huge bravo to our competition winner, Izzy S, who read an astonishing 221 books, an absolutely phenomenal accomplishment! Special congratulations also go to Grace H-M, who read an impressive 133 books, and Lydia C, who achieved a fantastic total of 90 books!
The excitement doesn’t stop here… thanks to the overwhelming enthusiasm from students, we are thrilled to announce that the competition will return after half term!
Who will rise to the challenge and become our next reading champion? We can’t wait to find out!
Félicitations to all our brilliant Year 7 students, keep reading, keep exploring, and keep shining!
