D-Day Landings
"To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings, KS3 students took part in a range of activities during a recent History club session, organised by the History Prefects - Alex, Ben, Ze, Zain, Tristan, Connor and Harry.
Students discussed the significance of the D-Day Landings with the History prefects before watching a short documentary. Then led by prefect Harry, students successfully collaborated and communicated to reenact the D-Day Landings.
Students have shared that they enjoy attending History club 'to learn more about History, specifically things you don't learn in lesson' and that it is 'fun to act out' History scenarios as a team.
History Club runs every Wednesday in Room 16 from 3pm to 3:45pm. This week students will be taking part in activities to celebrate National School Sports Week. We hope to see you there!
The History Prefect Team"
