An Interform Challenge
Earlier this half term, Year 8 had an action-packed week, full of
interform challenges, across a range of subjects, including Science, History,
Drama and many more!
For most subjects, 2 different people from each form were nominated
(or volunteered) to complete a challenge from one of the subjects.
In drama, forms were tasked to use from time to create a
freeze frame of a scene from a musical or movie of their choice. The catch was
the musical or film they chose had to begin with a letter of their form
tutor’s code. Can you guess which movies were chosen?
For History’s role in the interform History Prefects made a
Password game where Students were tasked to find the missing word or number to
each question with the first letter or number being a part of the end password.
The science department designed a scavenger hunt which led forms
from one of our science labs, through the school and back. They were given
riddles to solve from S3, and they used the answer to head to their next stop.
Other challenges included creating your own song in music, solving
questions in maths and a mini rounders match for the PE department.
All students were really involved in the task and thoroughly
enjoyed the friendly competition with other forms. Overall, the interform
challenge was a huge success and we are proud to announce that the
winners are...TMA!
Congratulations to all forms who took part and made the week super
exciting!
