Mr Drake and Excellence
Students enjoyed assemblies presented by Mr Drake this week on the theme of excellence and achieving your personal best. There were some very thought provoking ideas, linking success to wealth, which in turn was challenged by other achievements and behaviours.
Advanced Sport
Our Gifted and Talented Sport and PE students started
their specialist training with 'Advanced Sport' today, situated on the astroturf.
Students were put through their paces in speed dynamics, first step quickness,
acceleration and change of direction. The students left the session excited and
looking forward to the 6 week course.
