National Careers Week

Kicking off National Careers Week in style

Our former student Jake Burke inspired our Year 11 students by sharing his journey from school to his solicitor apprenticeship at Norton Rose Fullbright.  His insight into the amazing opportunities apprenticeships offer was invaluable.

Our Year 9 students have benefited from a number of visits from employers.

Jake ran a fantastic negotiation workshop and students were truly engaged and excited about careers in law.

Both the RAF and the Army explained about their diverse roles and opportunities.

Arran from Kubrick Group shared his unique career journey, blending passions for singing, biking, science and paleontology, leading to a successful career in data consultancy.

Rianna from Omni Academy gave an insightful talk about careers an apprenticeships in the hair and beauty industry and shared her journey from university, to working in beauty, cruise liners and eventually owning her own business.

It's always great to welcome employers and alumni to our school.  It has been inspiring to hear the stories of all our visitors and we are very grateful for giving our students insights into different careers.
