Creating Poke Bowls

Our Year 7 students have been expanding their culinary know-how this term by creating fresh, vibrant poke bowls.

This engaging project has helped them develop essential knife skills and cooking techniques, while also encouraging a strong focus on eye-catching presentation. We aim to include dishes that are balanced, healthy, and fun across all year groups, empowering students to make informed choices around healthy eating.

The attention to detail shown this term has truly impressed us, and we’re seeing the makings of many mini master chefs in the classroom!

Italian Bread

It is that time of year when the delicious smell of freshly baked Focaccia fills the corridors of the Home Technology Dept .

Our Year 9 class produced some delicious Italian bread as seen here . This leads them onto their next practical which is preparing a dish from a country of their choice.

Well done Year 9, I hope that you go on to make this bread again at home.
