Winston Supporting Year 6 Transition

 Year 6 Winston Experience Day

Five hundred Year 6 children came to Winston today to find out what it is like in a secondary school. This day can be built into the transition programme in primary schools and provides talking points to reassure the children.

Choosing a secondary school is difficult for parents, as they have so many good choices in Woking but wherever these children decide to go, we have had a great day and the children's feedback confirmed this.

There are some lovely images below and we have worked hard to ensure that only children who gave permission are on the blog.  If you think we have made a mistake, email the office immediately, count the photos down from the top and I will remove it.  office@wcsc.org.uk

I hope the images give you a flavour of the experience that your children have enjoyed.  More will be published early next week.

I would like to thank Mr Drake for organising the whole experience and to everyone in the main office and the Data Team for completing all of the admin which underpins such a successful day.

Open Evening is on Thursday 25th September.  Come along, with your children and they will be able to show you where they have been today.
