Winston Making Magic
Year 10 Students visited the Warner Studios for a careers workshop and tour. These experiences demonstrate to our students what is possible and the range of opportunities within the film industry.
They learned about the tricks and secrets from the movie world, for example: how props had to take the health and safety of the actors into consideration, which resulted in foam gold bars, treasure chests and goblets; how great marble pillars in Gringots Bank are actually just painted and that the portraits were painted by real artists in oil paints and feature famous people like Anne Boleyn - apparently many considered her a witch in her time.
