🎄 Christmas Charity Market - Year 7 🎄
On Monday 8th December Year 7's gathered in the hall to take to their market stalls and raise money for Woking Hospice.
All students have been working hard over the past few weeks to plan and execute running a successful market stall. We have had innovative and ingenious plans and the responsibility students' have shown running the stalls was amazing!
Some of the stalls we saw this year were:
- Candy Cane Gram
- Hot Chocolate and Cookies
- Bake Sales
- DEC (orate) the Halls - paint your own decoration (clay decorations one of a kind made by JPY's tutor group)
- Festival games - snowball throw, guess where Santa is, tin throw.
- Mr Mealin's Musical Mystery
- Personalised Cookies
- Christmas Tombola
Students were excited to take to their stalls and "start their shifts", showing a positive ethos to help run the stall and promote their hard work. All students got involved, whether this was, contributing their time, money, marketing skills (poster making) - and the result was a fantastic event that EVERY year 7 can be proud to of been a part of.
We raised an amazing amount for Woking Hospice, which will be announced to Year 7's in their celebration assembly on Friday!
Well done year 7, you continue to amaze us and make us very proud!
