Music Concert
Parents and staff were entertained with a fabulous evening of music on Thursday. A fully prgramme of individual and group performances showcased the range of talent within the students at Winston and reflected the hard work and commitment they display to improving their skills.Mr Drake is to be commended for the way in which he has raised the standard and profile of music across the school and the local community. He has exceeded my expectations for his first year in post and I am now looking forward to an exciting new year for music, with additional staffing, a new cohort of students and an ambition to be the outstanding Music Department in the area. A huge thank you to everyone involved.

Toe by Toe Presentations
I was delighted to be invited to present certificates to an amazing group of young people, who have successfully completed a literacy programme called Toe by Toe. I am sure that they will all have the confidence to build on their success and enjoy and learn through reading.

Having completed all the track and field events, with one record being broken the whole school assembled on the field for the relays. The final race was a staff verses Year 10 relay.
