Supporting Wellbeing

Be Smart Be Safe: Year 10

Growing up is all about learning to make good decisions and having those 'pathways out', ensuring that you remain safe.

Some of the sessions are based around feedback from students, therefore, tailored to their needs.

Sessions included:

Stand Against Violence - the impact of carrying a weapon

Managing Your Finances - budgeting

Rabbits - keeping safe online

GAV, Girls and Gangs; changing attitudes

Thinking Ahead - exploring all local post 16 options

We would like to thank all of our providers for their work with our young people today and to Mrs Harnett, who arranged the full day of activities.

One of our presenters said, as they were leaving:

"We always love coming back to Winston.  The impact your staff have on the students really shines through"  Tim from GAV

Bulb Planting

Thank you to all the parents who responded to our "Bring a Bulb to School Day".  We had such a great response that the Eco-club have been able to hold another planting session at the front of the school.  We look forward to seeing the results in spring.
