Year 9 students shared an exciting excursion to London on Friday.

Firstly, they visited the Immersive Experience of the Last Days of Pompeii at the Excel Centre. Virtual Reality guides of Pomepian villas, interactive, digital digs into historical artefacts and a 360° cinema room putting us in the midst of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

Then, we carried on to the British Museum where students explored the Ancient Greece and Rome galleries, completing Mr Fisher's scavenger hunt to examine the exhibits.

It's competition time! Students are invited to write a short story inspired by an artefact at the museum. Entries in by Friday 28th November. Winner earns something special from the gift shop...
